Had to get under the boat to remove a rope that got sucked into the intake. After clearing the rope I noticed the drive shaft cover appears to be pulling away from the hull. I can’t imagine this just started happening but want to know how much of a concern this is as I’m unsure what is going on under the cover. There are only fasteners on the opposite side of the cover. Can I simply caulk this area?
