I am looking at an 05 185 HP. Asking price is 15k. Includes a lot of extras (ski, wake board, tube, cover, vests, rope, bimini top, etc) but I am more concerned with the value if the boat. Asking 15k. I am in SO CAL. Appears to be close to asking of others although I don't see too many for sale. NADA value showed it between 11,500 and about 13,500 with the 215hp. Boat is clean other than some scuffing on the decals from rubbing the docks. Any idea on a good offer?
Also, any idea on what a (fair) mechanic would charge to do an inspection (compression check, pump check hook it up to a computer to get hours if that is an option, etc).
