03 LRV DI limited power

My parent have a 03 LRV DI, and it wont seem to go past 20 mph, it strarts and idle good, it will run up to about 20 mph, then just act as if its governed, and then the maint. light come on and starts beeping, if you back off throttle its all good till you throttle up again, any clues, dad did notice lo compression in num 1 piston, about 50psi, and 90 in num 2, i dont want them getting taken, so any ideas, im a car mechanic, so i can do the work, but have no clue when it comes to di pwc"s...

Put new *plugs in, and post up a pic of the old. Remove each cooling hose, wire any
crap out of the nipple and air-chuck both. Whats the oil level and viscos? Shine a light down *plug holes, what does piston top look like?
Pull the intake and check the reeds. Bills86e
