03 gtx 4tec sc ltd -Electrical issue I think??

If anyone can point me in the right direction with this one it would be greatly appreciated. New issue rode this morning and twice ski just completely shut off. Both times had to wait about 3 to 5 mins for it to start. So I replaced dess key after hooking up to Candoo Pro. Fault code for bad key was what the fault read. Charged battery and went riding again rode for awhile and this time after shutting off and restarting it noticed my rpms were higher so I went home. Any ideas? Please!!
