I have a 2003 Sea doo GTI LE in the shop and at first the ski runs great. Then after a few minutes of riding at full throttle it will just completly die. Then it will start right back up and run then do it again but only at full throttle.
It does not bog or chug. It just completly cuts out. I do not think it is a fuel problem
I pulled the spark plugs and they looked really dry with alot of dark black carbon which first led me to believe that it was the oil pump causing the engine to partially sieze.
I checked the oil pump and it is pumping oil just fine. The ski still cuts out.
The carb is not rejeted and it is not too lean
It has 130 psi in both cylinders and there is no water leaking into engine. The cooling system is working properly and it is not over heating
Any Ideas?
oh and I don't think it is the regulator rectifier, it is charging just fine
