I've had my share of problems with my boat and I'm thinking a 12 guage may be the answer! 
If I get more than five people in my boat it won't plane. No matter where I seat them in the boat, six people is just too many. The boat is designed to hold twelve people but can't plane with six.
I have a new impeller, new spark plugs and fuel filter and the bottom is clean.
The boat runs totally fine when I'm in it by myself. Takes right off and goes 40mph. I don't have a compression tester but is that what I need to have checked next? Any suggestions?
I used to easily plane with 8 people.
