Got a ‘12 GTI that starts right up then stumbles into a rough idle. Backfire through both intake & exhaust when throttle applied. Dues under load.

Thanks. Plugs are new. Unit appears to have new ecm. Suspect spurious input from 1 or more sensors due to corrosion.
No longer my problem as I returned units to Houston based seller who had them advertised on PWCTrader as fresh water, low hours. Heavy engine corrosion consistent with salt water and new ecm accounting for low hours.
