wd40

My mechanic told me to spray WD40 in my carbs while it was running to solve my problem of bogging. I do not have a hose adapter but am wondering where I should get one and how the whole process works. Also, where do I spray the WD40 in the carbs while the ski is running? what does that process...

My 97xp 787 had a lose hose and took on a ton of water. I believe the carbs have condensation or got wet causing it to bog. Where exactly should I spray the WD40 and do I need to be running the ski on a hose? After this, will I need to change my spark plugs?
