learning key

I just bought a used 2018 GTX LTD and a 2019 GTX. It seems the 2018 is faster. After looking into it, the 2018 gets to about 8100 RPMs and the 2019 gets up to about 7800 RPMs. The max speed (or RPM haven't verified yet) of the 2019 is much lower than the 2018 as well with the learning key...

Folks, when I plug in my learning key it shows Reading Key for well over a minute or more. The dealer tried to fix it at the end of last season and the problem still exists. Any advice or ideas would be a big help. I almost went over a waterfall while my key was reading a book perhaps? Thx
