    2008 Seadoo Challenger 180se 215hp - Neutral Issue

I think all jet boats creep in neutral...Easy fix, shut off the engine

    Batteries

I find most batteries are about the same, some charge more and offer additional warranty, but YOU pay that difference up front. In our AZ heat two years is about the norm, though my INTERSTATE, brand batteries have lasted the longest! (4 yrs)

    Driving with the tarp on?

Macker29 is right, roads to Canyon Lake are OK, its the road beyond Canyon to Apache and eventually Roosevelt that gets hairy, a good portion is still unpaved, the worst stretch is known as Fish creek Hill....

    Driving with the tarp on?

We now live closer to Pleasant, I kept a boat at Saguaro for years when we lived in Scottsdale, it's a beautiful lake but IMO can't compare to Pleasant in terms of amenities. Pleasant has two marinas with restaurants/ fuel/stores, has (2) 4 lane and even a 10 lane all paved ramps with tons of...

    Driving with the tarp on?

I tow my 06 Challenger from Phx to Lake Powell (5hrs) with the OEM cover on, never had a problem, but I would caution you that trailer rated tires should not see speeds of 80 MPH no matter the speed limit.

New boat owner (challenger 180 2012)

Based on my area (AZ)...That's a really good price, are you buying w/o trying it on the water? If so, might be worth paying a dealer for a survey?

Coolant Change 2006 SEADOO 215HP Sportster Supercharge with Wake Tower

I replace my coolant every 3-4 years, there's a drain plug on the rear of the ride plate, remove holding tank cap, raise the bow and drain old coolant into a container. If drain plugs never been removed be careful not to break it off. My manual says to run a cleaning product through, but I just...

Should bilge pump remove water from ski locker?

Assuming the drain line between locker and engine compartment is open, (mine had fiberglass shards partially blocking) you'd also want to elevate the bow so water would drain toward the rear...

Changing Oil for the First Time!!!

I've been buying the same xps kit (plugs, filter, oil, O-rings) that JPass listed (on line) for years, never had a problem. Agree, getting a good siphon pump makes the job go easier, like anything, the first time takes longer.

    No start

I had similar problem it was the neutral switch...had to pull shift lever counsel, ...my n-switch was forward of the lever assembly, but was too far to reach from fuse door. I removed and bypassed it,.... never had another start problem since. Good luck

Challenger 180 Wont go over 37 mph/6000 rpm

If there's even a chance you have ceramic washers you should probably rebuild the S/C. Just Google PWC MUSCLE, they have videos showing how to pull it, you mail it to them and they rebuild and mail it back a few days later, Minimal down time,...peace of mind not wondering / worrying about...
