Premix? That is SO WRONG! you do not need to premix your fuel if your oil pump works. People who premix are too dumb to figure out why...and fix it so that resort to premix.

This comment us so right on. These engines are designed to give little oil to start and low throttle. As you accelerate the oil mixture increases the faster you go. With premix your going to have too much oil at low settings and it will smoke like a botch. And at high speeds it will not be...

The tank size is 25gals. 20gals are used through the on (straw) petcock setting, while the last 5gal is what the reserve (straw) peacock setting.

That helps a lot. Id prefer to stay away from sbt as they do not have a good rap from what I hear. Anyplace I can mail cam too to get rebuild? Anyplace you recommend to buy a rebuild one from?

What I need help with. Is understanding if I need to buy a whole new cam or need a new housing....or both. Dont know how to tell by looking at a bottom end that "its bad".
