    im using same sleeves and original pistons from same running motor ( i need to change rotted aluminum cylinder part) do i still need any machining besides top decking ?? running motor had 150 psi and pistons look great no scoring,, these are stock standard bore, ill get new rings .

    looks like im going to try this , when the wife isnt home . freezer and oven . she will smell it for sure . thats not as bad as dealing with a machine shop issue ,though. . i have my bbq with a side burner anyone ever bbq there cylinders to removed and put new sleeves in? would make life better...

    this is a question i had now answered , thanks,, SEA DOO RINGS ARENT CHEAP CONSIDERING I HAVE BOUGHT SETS FOR MERCURY V6 OUTBOARDS 12 RINGS TOTAL FOR FAR LESS THEN 4 RINGS FOR SEA DOO MOTORS. LOL

    yes it is possible . im basically done . but i have a bad bearing that i have to address . i didnt want to remove cylinders because their salt water motors and ill certainly wind up with at least one broken bolt and hours with a propane torch.
