Thanks guys... lots of good info. I thought that Atwood peice was the check valve but wasn’t sure because it looked nothing like what is on Jetski’s. Also I just did not have the time to investigate. But I’m gonna order it and replace it. Well as far as tank collapsing, it def was not like that...

That might be possible. I have to really look into it. But if there is nothing in line, why would the tank collapse like it had a huge vacuum on it. Anybody else have this issue?

The 97....98....99 SPX Are all identical. The only diff is colors of hull. So yes one that works on a 97 will work on a 99 spx.

No it should run with brand new carb on it. Check compression....

Everything is not good.... As long as we got that out the way first. Something wrong with fuel pump portion on carbs.Its not pulling gas into carbs. You have to check fuel lines also. Make sure they are in correct spots and fuel knob in ON position.

Drive shaft seal. Carbon seal Stainless ring and boot. Replace these items and cavitation should be gone.
