My friend from near me is up in Traverse city, Mi and got a HUILE code. 2001 RXDI. Is this in french and means Low Oil?

My buddy corrected the language to English and it said "Low oil" he added some and the code went away.
He stated that the tank was about 1/4 to 1/3 full. Now it's topped off. All is good .
