Hi to everyone,
I'm new here. I have a 1993 seadoo xp 657, i really need some expert advice. This ski has spark.. No Start....i've replace the cdi box ,coil, rebuilt the carbs, the computer, starter, vts. check fuses. i changed just about everything. The ski will sometimes run than sometimes won't .i did notice gas sometimes when cranking it, gas spits out of top of carb, when it doesn't start. i also change the intake, put gas in carbs still won't fire.even gas in cylinders .Check timing, fine. I even change the tether switch.. i have service manual. the cylinders are in range. i've check switches with ohm meter..i've done everything...sometimes it runs sometimes won't start...the spark plug tester shows good spark.. I'm really lost...I really need help, I've done everything i know...so someone please help me. I've been all over the internet, reading, nothing.
I really need expert help on this problem. Thanks Doug...

i do not endorse this, but spray a little starter fluid into the cylinders, put the plugs back in, give it a crank, if it fires up for 2-3 seconds you have your answer, fuel related.

Thanks for the reply. I did use that rebuild kit. Even 2.0 jets with seat. Even poring little gas done carbs still won’t fire

I did use starting fluid. That still didn’t get it to fire, than switch to higher octane gas in cylinders still no fire

If fuel is coming back out of the carbs then it’s either flooded or your rotary valve timing and or clearance is wrong.

If you have good spark and compression then tat leaves fuel and rotary valve issues.
