Everytime I go to start up my seadoo's they have thick white smoke billowing out the exhaust for about 30 sec to a min then they are fine. I know this could be from the fogging oil from winterization but why does it do this everytime I start them after they have been sitting for over a day. Also they are very hard to start when they havent been ran for more than a day. Even with fresh plugs. Any ideas? I havent noticed them burning oil any faster than normal. Thanks for the help.

I think you're worrying over nothing.

hard to start?? meaning they both are slow to crank or just alot of cranking needed before they pop off?

01 GTS those should be 717 motors right? single carb?

extra smoke may just be a symptom of extra cranking.

OR it could be a leaking RV seal. But I doubt it because you say both are doing this.

might be a good time to clean both fuel systems carbs/fuel line replacment if it hasn't been done.
