What's wrong with this picture?

We are being flooded here in Quebec province. My place and our lake are OK but water is so high that I had to lower my head to take my ski under our bridge! Kind of risky also as the current is so strong.
There is no way to put my ski in the water permanently for the summer as there are still two feet of water right under my stairway. Can't install my new dock for another two weeks I guess. I bought a 20 feet section with two mooring arms (metal tubing). The only thing that worries me a bit is that the back hook on my GTI is just under the seat (not behind the ski as seen as the picture below). It will need some adjustment. Or should I have a hook installed at the back of this used ski?

I guess I will have to wait a few more weeks until I start seeing some shore below my deck/stairway.
