Accelerator pump, it gives a shot of fuel into the carbs when you stab the throttle so they can be jetted leaner on the bottom end.

There is no reason to replace the accelerator pump lines and the feed one has a small brass restrictor jet that you have to reuse. I think the hoses are 1/8"

The piping is hard and it broke in haft, o bugger so there is a jet in the feed pipe did not see that, is it pushed up into the pipe and is it on the end ? Hope i have not lost it.

It's just inside the pipe on the pump side of the pipe, the one that comes from the base of the carb into the pump.

Just to clarify so this is the pipe running up to the pump where the pump diaphragm is in that hose

Man, you are a life saver, had no idea they were in the line shows you how easy it is to cock up especially when I'm being so critical and caring out full maintenance on the boat.

Sorry here is a couple of other questions i need urgently answered when you can

Question 1- With the voltage regulator frying like this is this common or should I be looking for something that has caused us on the boat I did install a compressor airhorn on the boat without a relay could that cause it. Also (The other voltage regulator on the other motor is fine)
Could of this cause the engines to stop when I had it on the water that time.

Question 2- You mentioned there is a jet on the exhaust/water box is this the fitting the jet is in as i dont want to undo all my piping to find it.
