Well Ive been on a search for a beach house fin for my 98gsxl and have had no luck. Dont really wanna buy a complete or new set but if it comes down to it I will since I dont really ride it. I had made one from a sheet of pvc board looks like trim for a house and it worked great until it broke off. Anyone know a better material that could be used to make a fin? Thanks

In the meantime at the lake this weekend I had seen a gtx getting towed in im thinking time to go get my wallet and buy this thing. Came to reality just to help the guy fix it guess he forgot to put the plugs in filled it with water drained it out and then towed it to the marina to set it on a charger cause battery was cranking slow. After he explained to me what happened I told him he probally has water in motor pulled plugs and he shot it all out ive never seen so much water come out of engine. Explained once water was out he needed to go ride it hard for a little bit. I made his whole weekend good just from something so little being over looked

They are made of UHMW (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene),

Try having a replacement made from seaboard, similar stuff to the beach house deals, and can be shaped with woodworking tools

Do you have the other side or a broken piece? Just Google industrial plastic supply(maybe throw "sheet" in there too on the search) and your zipcode. I have a huge plastics supply house in our industrial park, they have just about every type of plastic know to man in sheet, tube, rod and thickness/diameter.
