So I got my issue with the GTX not starting fixed, was actually an easy fix, but have a new issue. At the lake checking on the first fix I sucked up a rock and it got stuck in the impeller. But before I discovered this and shut it off when I pulled it out of the lake a lot of white plastic was coming out. It looks as though the stuck rock was destroying, I believe, the wear ring. Got the rock out, sounded okay on the trailer but when I put it in the water it was really rough sounding. The RPM got up to 7000 plus but could only get 30 mph and that had to be straight with no turns and it took a little bit to get there. Could this be because of the tore up wear ring and are these easy to replace? Any help would be appreciated.

Yep ... sound like you damaged the wear ring, and yes a damaged wear ring will cause the performance problem you described. It's not hard to replace; I recommend you download the service manual for your ski. The instructions are very well written. You can purchase the required tools on Ebay.
