The big metal clamp on top holds the bellow to the cap, tht needs to be out back on. The rusty clamp on the bottom needs to be replaced with a zip tie and make sure there are no holes in your bellow.

Just fix it and go, hard jetting is for super performance and if you don't want a pain in the ass just fix the regulator, it works 100% okay and the hard jetting is a PiTA IMO

What keeps it clamped? Looking at the parts fiche I can't even tell which clamp it is.

How in the hell does this thing fit back on there?

Only way I can get that clamp in there is by picking up the rave some. Is that clamp in there to keep the rave somewhat open? I don't see how that thing fits in there.

Take the 2 lines off and unscrew the whole valve off the tank.
Its a lot easier to work on outside on the ski.
Once off you can slide a screwdriver up inside the hole and unscrew the top part.

what is the wire in the pic? try moving the clamp to somewhere it will fit under the cap. a lot of the bolts and nuts end up rolling around in the bottom of the housing. thats where i found mine when i bought the ski.

I have the wire there to help so I have something to grab onto. Also if I was able to get it on was going to tie it up with that. The bolt would have to be microscopic to fit through there.

Yes the bolt is very small.
When i took my complete valve off the bolt was laying inside.
When you unscrew it from the tank keep it upright until you are over a table then turn it over and see if its inside.
If you can't find the bolt a plastic zip tie will hold you over until you can get another band.

If you're removing the valve from the water box, remove it by taking the brass fitting out of the water box. The plastic is sooooo fragile and gets fudged so fast. I swear they were cross threaded from the factory.

I looked at the brass fitting it looks kinda boogered with rust. Not sure I want to attempt that. Worst case scenario I replace the rave. Break off the brass valve......I have a bigger problem.

Only talking from my personal experience but the plastic unit unscrewed real easy by hand. Pulled the 2 hoses off and spun it off.
Disassembled it on the bench, cleaned and put it back together. Put a small amount of liquid teflon on the brass nipple and screwed the unit back on. Teflon tape works also, i just happened to have the liquid.

Unscrewed off by hand with ease and went back on with ease. Those hoses be damned. I couldn't get that bottom one back on for the life of me. So I used some of my 1/4" fuel hose I had left over and it was still tight as sh1t. Top one went on but not without fighting the hell out of it. I lubed them both up too and still wouldn't go on easily. Found the screw in there, but no bolt. So put it together with some wire, also pulled off the old rusty clamp on the bellows and put a zip tie on there. Put it back together and put it in. We'll see how she does in the water once it quits monsooning here.

Anyone see any issue with using a larger hose? In reality it's only going to take so much water in either way.

Did you try cutting off the plastic zip tie, sliding the hose on and putting on a new zip tie?
You can also try finding a phillips screwdriver that is slightly larger then the hose, warming it up with hot water or a heat gun then sliding it in the hose, let it cool before pulling it out of the hose. That should open the hose up enough to slide it on.

Clever idea! I was able to get the hoses off, with much persuasion. Just going back on was a PITA.
