I rode 75 miles 80 miles last weekend in 1-2 ft ocean chop. When I got home, I noticed that there was alot of salt deposit all over the motor as if water had come in somehow and quickly evaporated. leaving the salt.
Has anyone ha this problem?
The plastic cowling had been removed and replaced by the dealer almost a year ago in order to tighten some hose clamps. It seemed to be replaced just fine because I didn't notice any salt deposits until now.
Is there a better rubber seal to use?
