Want to put a Solas impeller on my 2020 Sea-Doo fish Pro 170

What is Solas impeller on my 2020 Sea-Doo fish Pro is it a good idea will it give me more speed is it worth it

Is there something wrong with your stock impeller, if not use it. Engine manufacturers don’t put on impellers or propellers that don’t work properly with the boat. Best all around is most always stock. You might increase your wot mph 2 to 3 percent but it might take you 10% longer to get there.

From what I found and seen is when you put a Solas on a stock engine you usually lose performance, and they are brittle, any sand , rocks, even weeds cause easy failures. I would stick with stock for sure.

Stick with Stock, if bad replace with stock, That Solas impeller will require you to do/add something to it, 2 other Doo`s replace good impellers, new wear rings on stock motors they lost 250-300 Rpm`s WOT but improve Acceleration, you maybe better having your stock or a stock impeller Repitch closer to max rpm.
