1998 gsx limited, trim is just clicking not working,vts motor is fine but need to know actually name of part in behind the trim motor that the wires come from,thats where the clicking is coming from
I believe there is a relay that actuates (and reverses) the trim. The relay may be picking up but if the motor is shot it won't work. Oddly enough it looks like a electric window regulator for most cars nowadays. I think some of the worm drive gears are also plastic so it may be stripped. I'm thinking if the relay picks up the fuse is fine and you got bigger issues. You gonna need to pull it and open it up and check gears. It's doable. Easier on the trailer.
