utopia trim plate adjustment

My Utopia 185 porpoises a bit in chop - I decided to adjust the trim plate down as described in several posts. Problem is the adjustment screws are frozen where they thread into the pump. Any suggestions on freeing these so I don't have to drill them out?

Got them out!

My Utopia 185 porpoises a bit in chop - I decided to adjust the trim plate down as described in several posts. Problem is the adjustment screws are frozen where they thread into the pump. Any suggestions on freeing these so I don't have to drill them out?

I finally got them out - had to drill out the head then heat area with a propane torch and apply wax to the threads - finally they broke free.
