hey does anyone have any tips on replacing the rear bearing on a 16 rxpx300?

I was told you can pull the driveshaft and get it, someone else said the motor needs to come out.

Shes leaking oil.

Thanks

You can get it by removing the driveshaft, if you can't the driveshaft has to come out before the engine is pulled anyways. It's probably not the bearing itself , either the clamp needs tightening or the bearing is not sitting correct on the shaft itself so the O ring inside seals. However if it is the bearing then you need a new clamp, get everything really clean and dry before you try to clamp the new one in. If someone had the driveshaft out before and then if the bearing was not installed correct it can wear a hole through the rubber holder.

Are you talking about the rubber boot that you can see?

Trying to figure it out on the parts breakdown, if you can help?

Thanks!

Yes, sometimes you can just tighten the clamps, if the oil is spraying all over the place then it's probably the bearing or it's not seated on the shaft all the way , if its just dripping out the bottom the probably just a loose clamp or cracked boot.
