Hi everyone, I just signed up to the forum and need some feedback. I recently purchased a 10 RXP X and went to change the oil today and the absolute worst thing just happened. I took the ski to the local resevoir to let it warm up in the water, pulled it out of the water, pulled the seat, let it cool for about 10 minutes and stuck the pump tube in the dipstick. Started pumping got about 2 qts and no more oil, pulled the tube out and now it is about 6 inches short!!!!!! So now I assume the only option I have is to pull the motor and pull the oil pan? I have the B.E.S.T. warranty but I dont think it is going to cover this. I would have never thought that it would have melted the hose like that, apparently I was wrong. Any feedback on the extent of pulling the motor or opinions on how to avoid doing this would be greatly appreciated!
