Hi All,

I need help with the VTS module on the 1997 sea doo GSX. I was wondering if "The trim fix" is a good solution to this I have read the forums and no one has pictures of it and it sounds like a lot of modding to do. So I am a bit skeptical, but I am handy just want to know if it will for sure work. Is there any way anyone can help me with this?

It is located on eBay I can't post a link since I am a new member...

Thanks,

Sean

I used the trim fix on my 95 xp. It works perfectly. Very easy to install. My unit had a good working motor and the gauge still functioned so I only needed the controller. I mounted it in the front of the hull on the foam.

Hi Matempl,

Okay, that sounds good I'll get one on order. Were there any extra things you needed to buy such as connectors, wires, heat shrink, etc.?

Thanks,

Sean

I've heard about this device, people on the FB seadoo 2 stroke forum are having good luck with it. I've been fortunate no issues with the stock setup on my 96' GSX. It works from what I understand, but what I'm trying to also understand is the cost/benefit, the Trim Fix runs about $100 and for about the same you can buy a good used setup off another ski.

Agree, lots of wiring modding to set it up, the ones I've seen on FB look like a wiring mess.

Well, I think the benefit to this device is that you won't need to replace the VTS module when it does go out unfortunately for me when I plugged it in, it didn't work(also smoked a little bit because we figured it out that the VTS was shorted on the inside). Plus it is a new device that has never been used and it is all external.
