Hy Guys
Need an opinion on tightening / tensioning my flywheel on a 787 RFI.
Looking through the manual there is a special tool to lock the flywheel in place during this process, which of course i dont have but can modify something up to do this. The other option is to lock the crank using the PTO with a tool in the holes on the back.
My only concern is that the PTO looks like it is threaded onto the shaft... is this correct? Will this come loose if i tension the flywheel up by locking the crank at the PTO? I couldnt work out if the PTO is a left hand thread or right hand thread, if it is a left hand thread then it may come lose when tightening.
If they are both right hand threads then it should be OK right?
Any help would be appreciated.
