This was a craigslist scam posting. The email I got was way different story than what the posting was. I called them out on it and the ad disappeared w/in 5 min.

A good indication of a craigslist scam is if the post has some other way to contact them without going through the craigslist email address. If you see @yahoo, @hotmail, etc. email account...its a scam.

A good indication of a legit post is if they give a local phone number in the listing.

not really a scam if it has @yahoo and stuff like that cause that is how i usually post stuff and then give a phone number just cause i dont want alot of ppl calling me and txting me all day, but that does sound like a scam with that post

I am going to disagree with this. Just because you do it doesn't mean that the other 99.9% of the posts that do it are not scams. Perhaps I should have said its "probably" a scam.

i agree with you that that listing is a scam at that price, but i have seen alot of people put there email adress and i have done it alot of times to and bought and sold things that away, think about it when you click the link to email someone and your computer does not have a mail client it will not let you email them or even give you a adress, but anything that usually looks to good to be true is a scam,

Newbie here, i looked at this on craigslist and sent the owner an e-mail and got the usual scam reply back stating that it's crated ready to ship from a military base etc.
Anyway's my search continues, spooky how i found this site by searching for the sea doo, am away to introduce myself properly in the newbie section
