Tach Gauge needle fell off

96 Challenger single 787 - the needle for the tach seems like it came off the shaft - can this be repaired ( is the tach sealed ???)

Yes, it's sealed. The black ring around the gauge is thin steel and it's crimped to hold the lens onto the body. I took my speedo apart and it was a bitch to get back together. If you're going to attempt disassembly I suggest you try to un-crimp the ring from the back side, not the lens side.
