Hey guys im new here and just want to say hello to everyone.

My problem or issue is i bought this used and the plastic in the front storage compartment is cracked. I either want to fix it or replace it. Does anyone know what i should do.

I would use JB Weld epoxy glue. You can get it at Walmart or a local hardware store. You mix the two parts together and it starts a chemical reaction and begins to harden. There is the regular glue that hardens to a slightly higher strength and a quick hardening one that hardens to a lesser strength, but both will be adequate for what you are doing. If your tub is removable, I would probably try to super glue the plastic first, back in the position they should be in, so everything is set where you want it, as straight as possible, as close as possible. Then spread the JB Weld over the cracks, maybe going at least an inch wide total - half inch each side if the crack. If your tub is removable, do the outside first and wait 24 hours to dry. Put it on a bit thick and let it settle to a thinner level naturally. Then you should do the same to the inside. If the tub isn’t removable, just clean it good and do JB Weld on the inside as I explained. It won’t be pretty, as the JB Weld is gray colored, but it should be effective and strong. It probably cracked fron holding an anchor or heavy items over time. You might have to avoid carrying an anchor over 5 lbs after a repair.

Thanks for your response milehigh. I dont think its removable. Im pretty sure the battery cover part should be but not that. I wonder if anyone has taken one out.... Thanks again I may have to go with the jb weld route as you had mentioned.
