Hello,

so was out today on my 95 spx, and was great until I started to notice how the steering seemed to by great to the right but was not turning left at all.
If I was to slow down it seemed to turn to the left better?
took it back to the dock loaded it and did a inspection of all the hardware and was unable to find any thing wrong. any idea what it might be ?

Grab the steering nozzle and see if the handlebars move both ways. Typically when the cable breaks it will only move in one direction.

I am going out to see if it is moving through the haul I was reading in a post that it might have a broken nut on the haul?

Nothing broken and mine seems to be metal in the haul and the plastic next to the jet pump.
seems like it is lose when turning to the left when I turn the handle bars to the right it moves all the way over but when I turn to the left there seems to be a couple inches of play

Try removing your cable at the outlet nozzle...see if it swings both ways,,,that way you eliminate obstructions at the nozzle.,,Then you can focus on the steering mechanism up front.

I have taken the cable end of the nozzle and it moves side to side with out any problem. I feel like the extra movement I have in the handle bars is the problem? when I looked in the front really unsure how I can adjust that?

, there is a large split fitting held together with two 10 mm hex bolts,,,make sure they are snug,,,that split fitting is to centre your steering bar with the venturi outlet at the pump end.,,,of course tighten the 4 steering head bolts that attach the steering head to the hull,,it may be tight quarters in there,,,,

You was correct sir, the 2 10mm bolts was lose and when I was able to tighten them it took the play out of the handle bars thank you for the help
