starting a 94 xp out of water with hose???

i recently bought a 1994 seadoo xp the guy i bought it from said that the extra hose in the block can be connected to the waterhose so the ski can run out of water is this true? if so where do i get the attachment to tap it to the waterhose

ive seen that for boats but i have never seen that on my 94 xp. if it is there just look for a garden hose connection. u couldn't miss it and it would be at the back of the engine.

Dealer or eBay.
If the black line water line in the back wasn't outfitted with a standard garden hose fitting & cap, it will look like a small capped nipple that you hook the special hose to.
You could always install a garden hose style inline with 2 hose clamps and the part if you don't want to shell out $$ for dealer hoses.

Don't start out of water with no hose for more than a few seconds.
Don't run on hose for more than 5 min.
Be sure to start THEN turn on water....... stop water THEN turn off engine.

couldn't do that, since factory flush is 1-way. He could install ball valve on the existing hose, tossing factory one, then after ball valve, hook a hose connection deal, with "L" barb.
