Hey guys, our 96 Seadoo GSX quit cranking a while back. I can hear and feel the solenoid clicking when u hit the starter button. I have not hooked a voltmeter to it, but I'm pretty sure it's the starter.
We keep the doos at the lake house which is about 3 hrs from where I am, so I was wondering if theres a way to figure out if it's supposed to have an 8 or 9 tooth starter without pulling the old one out. I read that the 8 tooth was like a "high-torque" model, and that they are interchangeable. I was just gonna buy the 9 but didnt know if it matters
