I recently put on a steering cable for my '97 spx. From what I read it was the correct cable for my ski. Unfortunately, now when the handlebars are straight, the nozzle isn't. I've tried turning the things on the ends of the cable (don't know they're exact name) to make the cable shorter in hopes of it fitting better, but it's still off. I would say its about 15 degrees to the left of center. Is there any other way to adjust it besides the rotating things on the ends?

Should be up by the steering column 2 bolts that go to a retaining block for the cable support. You can loosen these and then turn the big one on the middle to adjust. Make sure it's not kinked anywhere keeping it from adjusting.
