I’ve been sweating the thought of doing this myself, but I finally decided to go for it. I think it turned out great for my first seat reupholstering job. One thing is for certain, if I can do it, anybody can do it. New chin pad cover and traction mats to boot. Restore is coming along [emoji1377]d8e4be558bc709932a1bf0817b4c4e95.jpg

Looks great! What other tools did you use? I am considering a first time seat cover replacement as well.

Just a flat head screwdriver to get the old staples off and a 10mm socket to take the 2 bolts off to remove the latch. A craftsman 2 speed heat gun and some pliers to snap off the strap retainer pins. Go for it man. It’s a great learning experience and it can totally be done!
And…..WDE!!!!!!!!
