Hi all
On the weekend, after about 40 minutes of cruising the boat stopped dead in the water and flashed up P1502 check engine error. I let the boat sit for a minute or so and then restarted it. It started and appeared sluggish with no power, which I guess was in limp mode.
I understand that the P1502 error is a TOPS error, however I understand that boats do not have any TOPS gear. The fuse cover shows a TOPS fuse but there is no fuse or terminals.
I let the boat sit for an hour or so and checked it again to see if it would start. It started with no rough idle and I risked running it back home over 20km away. It ran smooth all the way home with no problems. Has anyone experienced the same problem? Other posts on the error point to a bad battery. I have lost confidence in using the boat out to sea, can anyone shine some light on the problem.
Thanks
Tony
