I just purchased a 2002 Sea Doo GTX DI. The manual says to use NGK BR8ES plugs gapped at .018. The ski has NGK ZFR4F plugs gapped at .042 in it. Which plug is correct. I also note that the spare plug holder under the seat will hold the smaller ZFR4F plugs but not the BR8ES. The ski ran fine the first couple of days but then began running at less than full power & is hard to start. Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Use what the manual suggests, gapped properly. Bombi engines dont like big gaps on plugs.

you would want to use ngk zfr4f11 for a direct injected (di) model, you only use
br8es on the carb and rfi engines.also ngk plugs come pre-gaped right out of the box thats what the 11 is for at the end of the plug #
