First off I’ve owned this ski since new and I will never sell it ! Lol ! Here’s the issue...when I start the ski in the water it runs great for 30-60 seconds then it starts sputtering, running rough, and will barely idle....but if I kill the engine and immediately start it again it runs great again for another 30-60 seconds....no problems restarting it either...fires right up...if I let it sit for 5-10 minutes in the water and then restart it won’t start sputtering as soon as before...maybe a minute or two....as usual if I kill the motor and immediately restart it always runs great for around 30 seconds to a minute...I rebuilt the carbs about 4 or 5 years ago with genuine Mikuni rebuild kits and new fuel lines but I haven’t had it out in the past 3 years. The gas did have stabilizer in it and smelled ok but I drained it and used fresh gas this season. I thought it might have been the rectifier so I replaced it with a new aftermarket one...didn’t fix the problem..Sounds to me like a spark issue since it runs fine after I kill the motor and immediately restarts and runs fine but I’m wondering if I should go through the carbs again....any suggestions...thanks
