Ski pod failure!

Anyone ever have a ski pod fail? The top portion flew out while we were pulling a tube. It sank and is lost. Wondering if we need to replace the whole unit or possibly just the top/inner part?

Tubes are the worst, saw a tower come down on a boat once from whipping a tube, granted the driver was an idiot. Keep them well inflated, like hard as a rock to keep them from diving.
