Ski Pilon

I have a 2017 RXT-X 300 with the SeaDoo Ski Pilon and it just lifts out of the unit itself, there must be a piece missing to allow it to slide right out.
Please help, the dealer had no idea

There are two rubber springs on the pylon. One detaches and holds your ski rope and the other wraps horizontally around the outside tube of the pylon and puts pressure on a cam that keeps the pylon in the upright and down positions. Also keeps it from sliding out.

Thank you for your reply, the ski rope holder is missing so I am not sure what this would look like. There must be a “key” missing? I was unable to locate a drawing.

search eBay "Sea-Doo Replacing Kit For Pylon Strap P/N 295100740" the cam or key is included with the rubber strap. The ski rope holder strap is also available.
