Silicone on the ride plate

Hi all,

Purchased a ski recently have noticed the silicone on the bottom of the hull where the ride plate connects, it doesn't look particularly in good shape. Please see photo:

How should this look?

I wouldn't worry about that. Sea-Doo uses about a gallon of RTV when the install the ride plates. I would be more worried about the damage to the gelcoat where you can see the fiberglass.

OK thanks a lot - it might be just light scratches hasn't been cleaned yet.
