I have a 98 XPL that needs the carbs cleaned, and drive shaft and impeller put back on. I cant get the impeller part any closer than an inch to the ski. The drive shaft will spin a little until it goes in, but when it does theres still the gap and it will not spin any more by hand. How do I get the drive shaft back in the right place; and how do I clean the carbs? I dont want to pay someone over $200 to clean the carbs and put the drive shaft back on. Please give me some advice on this if you would.
