Seadoo wont idle but will run at high revs.

I have bombadier 2004 gtx di seadoo. It was running fine until it suddenly wouldnt idle . It will fire about half a dozen times before running but only if revs are kept up high. Took to seadoo mechanic and he said fuel pump buggered and only had half pressure. So I bought new pump and installed but does exactly same. On the screen when it is running it says mantainance, Any ideas what to look for next. I would have thought if pump only half pressure it would idle but not run at high revs. Maybe someone has had same problem... Thanks

Did you get an OEM pump? Seen a bunch of post before about the after market pumps being junk. I read the fuel pressure has to be right and non OEM pumps dont seem to cut it. Not a di owner so not much more help then that. Sure someone will be along with a little more advice.

Will have to check. I think it is an LLC pump from a jetski firm in usa. They replace the pumps with this one all the time all seem to work.. i have bought a pressure guage so will check and see if it has full pressure which is around 107psi I think. then dont know what I will do.
