hey guys i have a similar write up in a different section of the forum but im just trying to get as much help as possible.

I bought this ski about a week ago and it didnt run. I removed both carbs, cleaned them and rebuilt them. I am now getting gas to them. The kid before me removed the chokes and installed a primer kit. After rebuilding the carbs the ski does now start but it doesnt idle or take a throttle. it only runs if i give it two squirts with the primer every 10 seconds or so. If anyone has any Ideas please help me out. thank you very much.

pull the carbs, and remove the n/s springs that yuo installed in there, that came with the rebuild kit, and install the oem ones that you had removed.

what do you mean by the N/S springs? the other problem is the kid before me has already been in the carbs and i dont know whats original.

Another quick question. today while messing with it, it revved up and i pushed the stop button, nothing happened then ripped off the cord and it still didnt shut off. any ideas? thanks

AIR LEAK......pull the carbs, get new base gaskets, and tear apart the carbs, see what color spring is in there. I thought you said, YOU went thru the carbs??? Did the kid you bought from, say it ran awesome, when you hand'n da money over? Go thru carbs, stud.

it has dull color springs in it, i went thru the carbs and cleaned up everything the kid didnt clean up. When i bought the jet ski, i bought 2 of them, one I knew ran and this one i knew didnt run, problem is im dealing with something that someone else has already screwed with.

I own a 95 seadoo HX and have also had the issue where Ive pulled the lanyard and the ski doesn't shut off and/or continues to increasingly rev up. Ive been told it has to do with the water pressure not being sufficient when running it on a hose or no hose at all? I've just had to unplug the battery cable when this has happened!
