Hi All,
Looking for some assistance here.
I bought a 1993 Seadoo GTX earlier this summer and it has ran great for me giving me no problems at all. I didn't live on the lake so I would just launch it at the boat ramp every time and use it for a few hours bouncing around the island.
Over the past week I've been at a cottage and I've kept it tied p to the dock (sitting in water) and the hull is taking on water... went to fire it up today and the water level was 3/4 up the battery when I lifted the seat cover.
I got it started and ran it for a good 30 minutes and it seemed to pump all the water out... I returned back to the dock and let it sit for a few hours and the water is 1/2 up the battery now... I pulled it out of the water on the trailer and removed the plug at the back to let the water drain out.
She's old... 28 and still kicking.
My thoughts (please see pictures) I think the water is coming through the bottom of the hull? Any idea how to fix this without breaking the bank?
Let me know if you think the water is coming in elsewhere.
Thanks in advance!
All the best,
Luke
