Hello. During my 787 rebuild l was thinking l should drain and remove my oil reservoir for cleaning. Does anybody have a procedure how l should clean and flush the inside? Would like to have a fresh oil tank before start up.

I just used simple green and washed it out twice. My tank had been sitting for about 9 years so it had dried oil and crude. After the cleaner was used I rinsed it out and let it dry. I used a towel to get the few drops of water that accumulated in the corner.
Me too. Just be careful, good ventilation, no sparks.
Use a small amount of gas, & do it twice. Pour the used gas into a plastic sealable container, & use it to start your campfires.
