I have a 2000 sea doo bomrdier gtx millennium edition, it was running fine until I hit a big wave and landed hard. The jet ski shut off when I landed and now makes a fast clicking noise in the black box at the front of the jet ski.. any help would be appreciated!!

What motor is this,,,clicking usually comes from the starter selenoid....often from a weak battery,,,or bad vonnection...maybe the battery connections loosened up?,,,

Not sure which engine it is, I checked the connection on the battery itself and it was still tight, it was for sure coming from the black box with the fuses in the front

You led me astray...you said black box st the front of the ski,,,the starter selenoid is in there,,,but those connections are super secure,,,are the battery connections secure?

My starter solenoid is in a black box at the back of the jet ski. The one in the front has a fuse box on it. Fuses are good tho

Grab each battery cable and see if it rotates? Remove the gray pto cover,,
Pull the plugs,,,does the crank rotate smoothly?
