Hi I have a 2002 rxdi bombardier it has been sitting for a couple of years it starts and runs fine but when I put in the water it overheats within a couple of minutes,anyone have any ideas why as I’m new to all this.

You need to check and blow out all the cooling lines and check your impeller and wear ring.

There is a very good chance some creature has plugged a cooling line. Alos when the wear rings go out they can decrease the pump pressure enough to stop the cooling water from being forced into the engine.
